In 2023, the management of Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers requested that reliable wireless coverage be provided throughout the entire plant - from outdoor areas and warehouses to indoor production facilities.

Previously, there was no Wi-Fi connectivity at all in these areas, which created difficulties when using mobile workstations, scanners, terminals, and other equipment that relies on a stable internet connection. The goal was to implement a solution capable of ensuring stable and secure network operation in a 24/7 production environment.

Before beginning work, it was necessary to conduct an audit of the current condition of the cabling and identify “dead zones.” Based on the results of the analysis, the next step was to design a structured cabling system (SCS) and select equipment capable of operating effectively under conditions of high humidity, vibration, and noise - which are typical of a manufacturing environment.

The work was carried out at an operational production facility operating on a 24-hour cycle. All technical operations in the sterile rooms were permitted only when the production lines were completely shut down - and the shutdown schedule was not set in advance. We had to act quickly, responding to calls on any day and at any time. This required flexible logistics, precise planning, and coordination with the customer’s technical service.

Since the launch of the Cisco Wi-Fi network, there have been no more “dead zones” on the production floor - everything now works reliably, regardless of the shift, time of day, or location.

Upon completion of the project, Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers gained not just Wi-Fi - but a reliable, secure, and easy-to-manage network that meets Coca-Cola’s corporate standards for quality and security.
