Green Light and Dell Technologies Helped the Kyrgyz-Swiss Bank Improve Its Customer Service
Building a virtual infrastructure. Migrating services from physical servers to a virtualized environment. Two Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, a Dell EMC PowerVault storage system, and VMware vSphere.
Kyrgyz-Swiss Bank CJSC is the first and only bank in Kyrgyzstan with Swiss capital. The bank offers a wide range of services: loans, cards, deposits, online banking, and cash and settlement services.
Due to an outdated approach to server infrastructure, long lines formed in the customer service areas, and IT specialists spent a lot of time restoring systems. The main objective was to increase the reliability of the customer service system, as well as to establish and ensure the secure storage of data backups.
To accomplish all these tasks, the bank selected Green Light as its systems integrator. By building a full-fledged data center in partnership with VMware (a division of Dell Technologies) and installing two Dell EMC PowerEdge servers and a Dell EMC PowerVault storage system, the Swiss bank was able to significantly transform its customer service and offer new services.
The bank's specialists have streamlined IT management, reduced costs, and improved security. The bank plans to implement VMware Site Recovery Manager and double the number of virtual servers.
