Green Light and Dell Technologies helped Kyrgyz-Swiss Bank improve customer service
Building a virtual infrastructure. Migration of services from physical servers to a virtualized environment. Two Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, a Dell EMC PowerVault storage system, VMware vSphere.
CJSC Kyrgyz-Swiss Bank is the first and only bank in Kyrgyzstan with Swiss capital. The bank provides a wide range of services: loans, cards, deposits, internet banking, and cash settlement services.
Because of an outdated approach to server infrastructure, long queues formed in the customer service halls, and IT specialists spent a lot of time restoring systems. The main task was to increase the resilience of the customer service system, as well as to create and guarantee secure storage of data backups.
To accomplish all these tasks, the bank chose Green Light as its system integrator. Building a full-fledged data center in partnership with VMware (a Dell Technologies division) and installing two Dell EMC PowerEdge servers and a Dell EMC PowerVault storage system enabled the Swiss bank to transform customer service in terms of quality and to offer new services.
The bank's specialists simplified IT management, reduced costs, and improved security. The bank plans to install Site Recovery Manager from VMware and to double the number of virtual servers.
